These Terms & Conditions apply to every enquiry, booking and tour arranged by Solanki Tours and Travels ("Solanki Tours", "we", "us"), A 260 Ramagarden Karwal Nagar, Main Mukiya Market, Delhi 110091. By making a booking or paying an advance, you ("the traveller") accept these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone travelling in your group.
1. Enquiries, Quotes and Prices
- Prices shown on this website are indicative. "Starting from" prices are the lowest available rate and depend on hotel category, season, group size and travel dates.
- Where a package shows "Contact Us", the price is given on request in a written quote.
- Your quote lists exactly what is included and excluded. Anything not listed as included (for example entry tickets, activities, porters, ponies, palki, room heaters or personal expenses) is payable by you.
- All rates are subject to availability at the time of booking. A quote does not hold hotel rooms, seats or helicopter slots until the booking is confirmed.
2. Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive the agreed advance payment and send you a confirmation.
- The remaining balance is generally due 7–15 days before departure. The exact due date is stated in your confirmation.
- If the balance is not paid on time, we may cancel the booking. Cancellation charges under Section 4 then apply.
- Peak season, long weekend and festival dates may carry a surcharge, which we will tell you about before you confirm.
3. Price Changes
- We reserve the right to revise prices because of increases in fuel prices, government taxes, levies, permit fees or supplier tariffs.
- If a revision affects a confirmed booking, we will inform you before your travel date and explain the difference.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be sent to us in writing, by email or WhatsApp. The cancellation date is the date we receive your message.
- Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the charges of the hotels, transporters, airlines, railways and helicopter operators involved. Your applicable charges are shared with you at the time of booking.
- Flight, train, helicopter, cruise and permit bookings are often non-refundable once issued. Their refund depends entirely on the supplier's rules.
- Refunds, where due, are processed 15 working days after cancellation.
- No refunds are provided for cancellations due to bad weather, landslides, strikes, closures, pandemics or viral outbreaks.
- No refunds are given for unused services, such as missed meals, transportation, sightseeing or accommodation.
5. Changes to Your Tour
- Itineraries in the hills and on pilgrimage routes can change at short notice because of weather, road conditions, landslides, permit rules or government orders. Sightseeing points such as Rohtang Pass, snow points and temple visits depend on access being open on the day.
- If a hotel is unavailable, a similar alternative will be provided.
- If a disruption beyond our control causes extra hotel nights, extra vehicle days or changed travel tickets, those additional costs are payable by the traveller.
- If you want to change dates or services after confirmation, we will try to accommodate the request. Any difference in cost and any supplier change fees are payable by you.
6. Hotels and Check-in
- Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out depends on hotel availability and may cost extra.
- Valid photo ID proof is required for every guest at check-in. Hotels may refuse check-in without it.
- Additional charges may apply for extra services, such as extra beds, room heaters or room service.
7. Your Responsibilities
- Carry valid ID for all travellers. For international tours, you are responsible for a passport valid for at least six months and for the visas, insurance and health requirements of each country.
- Some routes need permits or registrations, for example the government registration for the Char Dham Yatra. We will tell you what is required, but the details you provide must be correct.
- High-altitude destinations and treks, such as Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Rohtang, can be physically demanding. Please consult a doctor before travelling if you have a medical condition, and tell us about it when booking.
- Please follow the instructions of drivers, guides and local authorities, especially on mountain roads and at helipads.
8. Third-Party Services
We arrange hotels, vehicles, buses, trains, flights, helicopters, cruises and activities through independent suppliers. Each supplier's own terms, baggage rules and timings apply. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations or changes made by these suppliers, but we will help you make alternative arrangements wherever possible.
9. Liability
- The company is not responsible for any loss of life, injury, illness, or loss of or damage to personal belongings or goods during the tour. Clients participate at their own risk.
- We strongly recommend that you buy travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellation and loss of baggage.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned.
10. Photographs and Website Information
Photos on this website are for illustration and may not show the exact hotel, vehicle or view on your tour. We try to keep itineraries and information accurate, but details can change. Your written quote and confirmation take priority over the website.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
